Porchlight Press is an editorial studio and storytelling imprint rooted in Southern soil — and fueled by soul.
Hi, I’m Cindi Brown—writer, editor, and lifelong listener. I founded Porchlight Press on the belief that words can build bridges, hold memory, and shine a light on what matters most.
After decades in corporate marketing, I returned to Georgia and settled into a 130-year-old house in Pinehurst with 11-foot ceilings, creaking floors, and a screened-in porch where I do most of my writing.
Porchlight Press is part editorial studio, part creative porch swing, and part sacred listening space.
Whether I’m collaborating with a financial advisor on a legacy book, profiling a Southern artist, or helping a retiree capture their life story for their grandkids, the work is always personal.
My work blends deep research, tender observation, narrative structure + these offerings:
• Creative Nonfiction & Memoir Development
• Client Books (Legacy, Thought Leadership)
• Editorial Ghostwriting & Coaching
I’d love to hear your stories. Stop on by anytime, the door’s always open.
